I'm Valerie Halfon
Founder & CEO of Shop With Val
At Shop With Val, our mission is to assist clients in discovering practical and stylish fashion for their everyday lives, as well as those special moments in between. We've perfected the art of making the shopping experience hassle-free, enjoyable, and highly efficient. We take a tailored approach for each client, considering their unique needs, budget, and personal style, all while benefitting from the guidance of a personal stylist.
The idea for Shop With Val blossomed in 2010, inspired by a transformative moment when I assisted a dear friend in revamping her wardrobe. Witnessing her newfound self-confidence was truly inspiring. Fast forward 15 years, and I've had the privilege of working with a diverse array of over 450 clients spanning two dozen countries. The clients within my portfolio range in age from 12 to 85 and encompass sizes from 00 petite to 24.
When I'm not engaged in one-on-one client appointments, I find great joy in curating and hosting fashion events and delivering engaging talks to various groups on enhancing their overall wardrobe and style. I'm passionate about sharing my insights on emerging fashion trends, workplace wardrobe essentials, and the art of dressing for different body types.
My unwavering goal is to empower my clients with the knowledge and confidence to look and feel their best. I can't wait to work with you!
Elliot Kleinburd
Elliot Kleinburd serves as Executive Assistant to Shop With Val, bringing organization, strategy, and thoughtful attention to detail to the day-to-day operations of the business. From managing Valerie’s schedule to supporting brand relationships and new partnership opportunities, Elliot plays an integral role behind the scenes in keeping everything running seamlessly.
His understanding of Valerie goes well beyond their work together—the two have been close friends since high school. That longstanding friendship has created an intuitive working relationship built on trust, communication, and an ability to anticipate what’s needed, often before it’s asked.
Based on Long Island, New York, Elliot lives with his partner and brings experience from the dynamic worlds of events and marketing to his role at Shop With Val. His calm, focused approach, attention to detail, and dedication make him an invaluable part of Shop With Val.
